Embracing new paths through art.
As an artist, I’ve always felt a deep connection to my creative process — especially through painting on stones, a practice that has brought me peace, joy, and a sense of grounding. But every now and then, something inside whispers: “What if you tried something different?”
This summer, I answered that call by joining the Abstract Art Summer Classes. It’s a step out of my comfort zone and into a space filled with vibrant colours, loose forms, and the freedom of expression that abstract art offers.
Learning something new as an adult — especially in a field you already love — is both humbling and invigorating. It reminds you that growth doesn’t end once you find your “thing.” In fact, true creativity thrives when we remain open to change, to new techniques, and to perspectives that challenge us. Every brushstroke in this new journey feels like a small discovery: a colour I hadn’t blended before, a motion that feels unfamiliar yet exciting, a composition that invites me to loosen control and trust the process. Stepping into these classes isn’t about replacing what I already do — it’s about expanding it.
If you're feeling creatively stuck or simply curious, I wholeheartedly encourage you to explore something new. A workshop, a tutorial, a completely different medium — even a simple shift in how you approach your work can spark growth in unexpected ways.
Because in the end, learning keeps us alive, inspired, and deeply connected to our creative spirit.
